Pandy's Fun Park

On the top of one of the local malls in the open air is a children's fun park full of toys and play areas. The outdoor feel + playtime means Peppy loves it! If he could just talk so he could tell Carmen and Mama to go every day (or would he rather wish to go to the dog park...hmmm? tough choice!). There's a special play area just for babies. No shoes allowed, but plenty of "poofs" for the adults to sit on. Plenty of cars to ride!
Slides!
And little houses! It's a little world just for kids - and a few parents hanging around!

Day Trip to Colonia Tovar

Carrie and Nicholas checking out the treats - there were baked goods and fresh berries everywhere that would just make your mouth water. Luckily, we didn't just look at them!
About 1-2 hours from Caracas nestled in the mountains is a little town founded by Germans called Colonial Tovar. Here you can see the signature red roof houses in the hills.
We stopped in the restaurant with Juan Carlos and Carmen to have tasty sausages and fries. We got a pleasant spot on the patio to enjoy the fresh air and give Peppy a chance to roam around.
"Hmmmm, what are these?", says Peppy. Carmen thinks we're nuts, but Carrie's having a ball blowing bubbles for us and the passersby.
