Peppy knows what's good!
Peppy strutting his stuff on the beach.
A little father-son bonding time - best seat in the house for Peppy.
We got a good spot the 2nd day in the island, Cayo Sombrero. We spent most of the day lounging in the shade with breaks to swim, play beach ball, and eat fresh seafood.

Happy Family!
The day we moved into our new apartment, we ordered pizza and all had lunch together. From left to right are Juan Carlos (our driver), Carmen (our week-day nanny), Peppy, and Carrie. Yeah, we pretty much downed two whole large pizzas!
Cheerio arrived the next day, making the family complete. I don't know who was more thrilled to see who: Cheerio seeing us or Pickle seeing Cheerio. Cheerio likes Pickle but still doesn't like getting his hair pulled. Carrie was just happy to have all her boys back together again!

El Avila Ascent - Part 1
El Avila is the mountain hemming in Caracas on the north. We made the ascent via a 6 person cable car.
Nicholas sat quietly for a while until he realized that looking out the window was really cool!
Once we got to the top, we could see the ocean side on one side. Unfortunately, there was a cloud cover; otherwise you'd see the never-ending expanse of the Caribbean.
Pickle loved getting rides on Dada's shoulders!

El Avila Ascent - Part 2
This is the view towards the city.
Carrie and Nicholas enjoying the cool, fresh air. Of course, Nicholas is smiling at some ladies :)
There are many stands along the walkways selling flowers grown in the mountain and lots of goodies.
Once dinner time rolled around, we took an all-terrain vehicle part way down the other side to eat some 'comida criolla' - the local food. Carrie said her roasted chicken was probably the best she's ever had. Pickle ate most of it.
