We had a bug hunt for the kids. Luckily they didn't find any real ones : )
Grandpa helped Nicholas blow out the candles on his cupcake cake. He dug right in afterwards.
We got Nicholas a push car for his present. He and Mike zipped around the house chasing Cheerio. It was so funny to watch, and Nicholas laughed like crazy.
Even Cheerio got into the celebratory mood and allowed Nicholas to put a party hat on his head. These are those moments in life that just make you smile.

Some of us may be missing out on such activities- but I'm very glad that Carrie's dad is there.

Happy Birthday to Nicholas! Is he really 2 already? Your Seattle trip looks awesome- I'm going there the first week of august- it sure looks fun! And I LOVE the theme and cake!
